About Me

Welcome, and thank you for stopping by my blog!

My name is Michelle, and I am an Instructional Technology Coach for a K-8 school district. Prior to coaching, I taught for three years in our district's technology/innovation lab, introducing students to the many creative and innovative possibilities they could then integrate to projects in their classroom.

I started teaching 4th grade 8 years ago. When entering that grade level, I was introducing a 1:1 pilot of MacBooks. When I made the transition from 4th to 5th grade in 2013, I gave myself and my students the challenge of teaching and learning with iPads.

I am a tech enthusiast with a passion for professional learning. I have completed the certification as an Apple Learning Specialist, Apple Teacher, and Google Educator Certification for Level 2.  I hope this blog will not only share the many great things taking place in our classrooms/district, but can continue to assist me in building my PLN.

When I'm not teaching, I am a busy wife and mother. I love to craft and repurpose furniture at home. I am also currently training to run the 2018 Chicago Marathon through the Run for Autism organization.

  1. I love what you have done with your Blogger account. I took a ED TECH class this semester and created a blog for the class. I'm dipping my toe into this ed tech world.
